LEVEL5 Inc. is pleased to announce that the second free major update for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, which includes the downloadable content Ares Route, was released on Wednesday, January 28 (JST). The update is now available on Nintendo Switch™ 2, Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam®.
Starting Wednesday, January 28 (JST), the Inazuma Eleven Ares Route is now available in Chronicle Mode.
This update adds a wide range of special moves, characters, and tactics from Inazuma Eleven: Ares, and introduces the new Overburst system, enabling more diverse strategies and playstyles through tactical decision-making.
In this route, players can fully enjoy the story of Sonny Wright (Asuto Inamori) and his teammates, brought to the game for the first time, along with how Victorio Cryptix's (Victorio Arno) journey across time to find the strongest eleven unfolds.
More route content will be added in future updates. Stay tuned for more details.
This update introduces Fabled, the highest rarity in the game, for all characters.
By collecting exchange materials, players can upgrade their favorite characters to Fabled.
In addition, a Fabled Seed has been distributed to all players, which can be exchanged for one Fabled character to add to their team.
Overburst is a new system that lets players unleash powerful special moves by combining multiple moves.
Certain special-move combinations can also trigger entirely new moves, further expanding strategic options.
This update introduces new features that allow players to process multiple Spirits at once when summoning and retiring.
These features reduce the time and effort required for team building, helping players assemble teams more efficiently.
In addition, several other updates have been made to improve overall gameplay comfort.
In the latest entry in the Inazuma Eleven series, INAZUMA ELEVEN: Victory Road, Story Mode follows a new protagonist, Destin Billows (Unmei Sasanami), on an all-new adventure.
In addition, Chronicle Mode allows players to scout over 5,400 characters from both past and present titles, while the online tournament mode, Victory Road, lets players compete against others from around the world.
