[Victory Road Beta Tournament] Notice Regarding Disconnects, Own Goal Abuse, and the Removal of Players Engaging in Unfair Practices from the Rankings
We have identified cases of repeated intentional disconnects, scoring own goals to waste time, and other forms of unfair practices, including data tampering, by some players during the Victory Road Beta Tournament. We will therefore be taking the following measures to address these issues.

This change took effect in-game on Friday, July 17.

To address repeated intentional disconnects and scoring own goals to waste time, we will implement score penalties.
■Actions Subject to Penalties
Intentional Disconnects: A score penalty will be applied for each disconnection. (This is applied in addition to the existing matchmaking restriction.)
Own Goals: A score penalty will be applied if you score two or more own goals in a single match.
- *The match will continue even after two own goals are scored.
■Penalty Details
Disconnects and own goals are counted together toward your total number of violations. Depending on your violation count, the following score penalty durations will apply:

- While the score penalty is active, all match scores you earn will be reduced by 200P, but your score cannot be reduced below 0.
- *Once the penalty period ends, the score reduction will no longer apply.
- *Past disconnections and own goals will not be counted. This will apply only to matches played after the update.
- [Removal from the Rankings for Unfair Practices]

Players found to have engaged in unfair practices will be removed from the rankings.
Additionally, matchmaking has been adjusted so that players found to have engaged in unfair practices can no longer be matched in the tournament. (Added on July 17.)
The above measures are scheduled to be implemented as soon as possible, potentially later today.
